Inspired by Swinging London and, above all, the British Raj, the period of British rule on the Indian subcontinent, Ashish SS17 take us in the past days of the Empire with a psychedlic attitude and slightly flamboyant sensibility (borrowed from the 80s).
Ashish Gupta’s signature, the sequins, is visible everywhere: even in the make up and in the jewellery, including antique golden maharaja nose and ear hoops.
