Metal

Lunar glow, metallic foils, gold reflections “transformed” in blazer and appealing outerwear. AW16 goes with woven metallics and vibrant fabrics.

As if they had been milled and realigned  by a machine, futuristic space and sidereal textiles conquer fashion in the late Sixties, ages of Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath and of the first lunar landing.

In the Eighties metal studs and lurex are in the spotlight, as if in the roaring Nineties metal flashes are rocking on slim black leather and semi-sheer tank top.

This season the designers presented dark collections of red, metallics, silks, lace, gold thread and crushed velvet.
